Cookie Policy

What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We may also use similar technologies, such as pixels, scripts, local storage and device identifiers. These technologies help the website work, remember your choices, understand how the site is used, measure advertising and understand interest from organisations and business contacts.
Some technologies are essential for the website to operate. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are used only with your permission. Google tags may send limited, cookieless signals while consent is denied; these signals do not set or read analytics or advertising cookies.
Pattrn Limited is responsible for the use of these technologies on this website. If you have any questions, contact us at info@pattrnstudios.com.
Types of technologies we use
Necessary
Necessary technologies are required for the website to function. They support core functions such as security and remembering your consent choices. They cannot be switched off through our consent controls. Our consent tool stores your choice for up to 12 months.
Analytics
With your permission, we use analytics services to understand visits, page views, traffic sources, device information and how people use the website. This helps us improve the site and its content.
- Google Analytics measures website usage and performance. Its cookies may remain for up to two years, subject to our configuration and browser restrictions.
- Hotjar helps us understand how visitors use and navigate the website so that we can improve the experience.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics provides aggregated usage information. Ahrefs states that this service does not use cookies by default and does not store raw IP addresses or directly identifying personal information.
Marketing
With your permission, we use marketing technologies to measure advertising and understand business interest in our services.
- Google Ads helps us measure advertising performance and may support remarketing.
- Apollo Website Visitors helps us identify organisations visiting the website and, where available, matched US-based business contacts. It may associate website activity, such as pages viewed and visit timing, with company and professional contact information held by Apollo.
We do not currently use a separate optional personalisation service. We will update this policy if that changes.

Embedded content
The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps. It is not loaded until you choose to show it with the Load map button, or automatically if you have switched on Marketing. Once the map loads, Google may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.
How to manage your choices
When you first visit the website, you can choose Accept all, Reject all or Manage choices, which lets you switch Analytics and Marketing on or off individually. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Necessary technologies remain active because they are needed for the site to work.
Changing or withdrawing your consent affects future use of optional technologies. It does not undo processing that took place while your consent was valid. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
If you have questions about your choices or the way we use these technologies, email info@pattrnstudios.com.
Third-party services
We use services provided by Google, Apollo, Hotjar (part of Contentsquare) and Ahrefs. These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we and our providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We periodically review the technologies used on this website and will update this policy when they change.
